COVID-19 Safety Announcements- 2021

The past year has been challenging for everyone, and we are so thankful to continue offering lessons at DeLima Stables as a safe and fun way to get out of the house and connect with others! In order to keep the farm and our patrons as safe as possible, we ask everyone who comes to the farm to abide by the following guidelines.

  • Masks are required by all patrons at all times while not mounted (including parents and spectators). Masks may be removed once mounted on a horse if the rider does not need further assistance.
  • Absolutely no unannounced visits- if you are not scheduled for a lesson or other appointment, you must call before coming to the farm. If there are already a number of people on the property, we will ask you to reschedule your visit!
  • Only the rider and one parent or guardian are allowed to attend lessons. Parents/guardians must wear their masks at all times, and any other guests must remain in their vehicles.
  • Children under 2 years old or other patrons who cannot wear a mask are asked to remain in their vehicles at all times.
  • If you are experiencing COVID-like symptoms, please let us know as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule your lesson. If you have a confirmed case of COVID-19, please wait until you have quarantined the appropriate amount of time or received a negative test result before returning to lessons or other farm activities.

By following these guidelines and others recommended by state and national health organizations, we can reduce the spread of COVID-19 and continue enjoying riding as safely as possible!
